Just uploaded a new foundation pattern to my website for anyone to download and use. Since it's July, the block this month is Whirlwind Flag. I've finished the July newsletter and it goes out today. Yippee!! There are some cool links in the newsletter. One is a link to a quilter in Belgium who is doing a block of the month. She has English comments with each of her block. Her name is Gunrun and she is married with three children. Check out more about her site and BOM at my website. www.therightspot.com I have featured her this month on my main page. What fun it was reading her blog. There's a Google translator button. Just pick English and click. The translation is pretty funny!
I finished the top of a Christmas quilt for my door. Pretty quick and easy. Panel of an old world Santa, added a 1/2 flange and 3" border. Now I have to quilt it. I'm going to do that on a friend's long arm machine this Tuesday evening. Hopefully, it will go as quickly as sewing it together! Can't wait to try out the long arm. I may bring along my haunted house wallhanging to quilt as well just in case!
